HKU Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui and Director of the Kuwait Cultural Office Dr. Ahmad Alathari at the MOU signing ceremony

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait signed a Memorandum of Understanding at HKU today (June 29) seeking to strengthen bilateral relations in the field of education and scientific research.

HKU Vice-Chancellor Professor Lap-Chee Tsui and Director of the Kuwait Cultural Office Dr. Ahmad Alathari represented the two parties at the signing ceremony.

The University and Kuwait's Ministry of Higher Education agrees to seek to strengthen cooperation in areas of exchanges including academic scholarships; visits of higher education officials, academic staff and researches; and student activities.
