Reading from Chinese Poetry and Prose through the Ages
 
To promote Chinese poetry, the Chinese Language Centre of the University of Hong Kong will hold the event "Reading from Chinese Poetry and Prose through the Ages". At the event, various famous artists, poets, singers and outstanding students from the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival will perform their specialities.

Media representatives are cordially invited to attend the event, the details are:

Time: 2:30 - 4:30 pm

Venue: LE1 Hui Pun Hing Lecture Hall Library Building (New Wing) HKU

Language: Putonghua and Cantonese

About the Centre:
The Chinese Language Centre has invited overseas and mainland experts as consultants. Meanwhile, the Centre develops classical reading teaching materials and organizes pilot schemes for primary schools. The Centre also holds seminars, workshops and writing and reading competitions with the aim of promoting Chinese culture.
