The Faculty of Engineering of The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will present prizes and awards to 200 outstanding students and teachers in recognition of their achievements and excellence in research and teaching. It is a record number of recipients for the Faculty's annual Prize Presentation Ceremony.

Ir. Peter Y Wong, President, The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, will be the Guest of Honour to present awards to outstanding teachers and students winning faculty-based prizes at the ceremony to be held this Saturday (November 29).

Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost, Professor Y C Richard Wong, will present awards to students who have won external prizes.

This year's Deans Honours List will be presented by Professor W C Chew, Dean of the Faculty.
