HKU Centennial Campus Public Exhibition & Lecture Series

The University of Hong Kong was founded in 1911.  As we approach our centenary, a green and sustainable campus that provides 21st Century learning environment, the Centennial Campus, will be built to the west of the Main Campus.  The Centennial Campus will prepare HKU for the upcoming ‘3+3+4' new senior secondary academic structure, and lay a solid foundation for the University in becoming the world's top-notch tertiary institution.  To facilitate the understanding of the public on our new campus, a series of Centennial Campus Roving Exhibition have been staged at Pacific Place, Olympian City 2 and Harbour City since August 2008, and the last stop will be at Exhibition Gallery 3, Hong Kong Central Library, from 26 to 28 November.

Resembling a time tunnel and by showcasing valuable photos and videos, the exhibition will walk visitors through HKU's 100 years of history and enable them to envisage a even brighter future of the University.  A variety of multimedia tools will be deployed to present the futuristic design of the new campus, including videos, models, interactive games and exhibition panels.
