A conference entitled "Social Justice & Dispute Resolution", jointly organized by the Faculty of Law of The University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008. This half day conference will examine court annexed mediation systems and the effect of the recent civil justice reforms and the important new draft Practice Direction on Alternative Dispute Resolution that is scheduled to come into effect in Hong Kong on April 2, 2009.
