| The Council of The University of Hong Kong received today a written request from Mr. Henry Fan to take leave of absence as the Treasurer of the University.
The Chairman of the Council has on behalf of the Council acceded to Mr. Fan's request. Mr. Fan's leave of absence will take immediate effect. The Chairman has invited a current member of the University's Finance Committee, Mr. Paul Chow, to be the Acting Treasurer for the time being.
