HKUL Reading Club Book Talk: Tong Ching-siu speaks on "Hong Kong's Four Generations"
 
Mr Tong Ching-siu will talk about the Chinese book "Hong Kong's Four Generations" 《香港四代人》 at the Book Talk organised by The Hong Kong University (HKU) Libraries Reading Club.

The book written by Professor Lui Tai-lok, Professor in Sociology of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, gives a vivid description and analysis of four generations of Hong Kong people, starting from the pre-Sino-Japanese War period.

A local graduate in Chinese, Mr Tong went to further studies in Japan in 1991 and returned to Hong Kong a year later. Since then, he has been dedicated to writing and cultural studies, covering Japanese culture, social studies, film and literary reviews.

The Book Talk will be moderated by Dr Esther Cheung, Department of Comparative Literature, HKU.
